The State Health Insurance Assistance Program will be offering information on Medicare health plans and insurance July 12 from 2-3 p.m. at the William Bradford Huie Library in Hartselle. The program is being offered through NARCOG.
SHIP counselors will be on hand to counsel Medicare beneficiaries regarding original Medicare, Medicare Part D, Medicare Supplemental Insurance and Medicare health plans. There will also be information on how to apply for extra help to pay premiums and deductibles. All services will be provided free of charge.
