Funeral for Laverne Alene Keel Ryan, 85, of Hueytown, formerly of Morgan County, was Thur., April 8, at 11 a.m. at Forest Grove Funeral Home in Pleasant Grove.
She was born March 6, 1925. She was a loving wife and mother for 62 years, teaching Sunday School, Christian clown ministry and her professional loving touch as an L.P.N.
She is survived by two daughters, Gail Bristow and Susan Watson; a son, Roger Ryan; eight grandchildren, Al “Lora” Leonhardt, Ryan Bristow, Joseph Bristow, Mark Watson, Rodney Watson, Caleb Ryan, Celina Ryan and Ethan Ryan; and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Church of God Home for Children through the Hueytown Church of God.
