Travis 'T.C.' Powell

Memorial service for Travis "T.C' Powell, 78, of Illinois was Wednesday, Sept. 4, at Wilton Mortuary with the Rev. Don Zumwalt officiating.
Mr. Powell died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2002, at Apostolic Christian Home in Eureka, Ill. He was born May 21, 1924, in Hartselle to Washington Cleveland Powell and Elizabeth Walker Powell. He was the widower of Beunah Margaret Clement and father of the late Teresa Powell. He worked for Caterpillar Inc. for 36 years and retired as an engineer in 1986. He was a World War II Army Air Force veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Sonya Clifton of Marseilles, Ill.; two sisters, Lois Sanders and Sarah Dobbs, both of Hartselle; and two grandchildren.
