Robert Morris Knighten Sr.

Funeral for Robert Morris Knighten Sr., 59, of Birmingham will be Wed., Oct. 17, at 1:30 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home with burial in Hartselle Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Funeral home.

Mr. Knighten died Sun., Oct. 14, 2012, at his residence. He was born Aug. 13, 1953, in Morgan County to Raymond Knighten and Marguerite Earline Engle. He attended the Church of the Nazarene.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Knighten of Birmingham, four sons, Jamie Lynn Knighten, Robert Morris Knighten Jr. and Johnny Knighten, all of Birmingham, and Donny Knighten of Arab; three brothers, Luther Earl Knighten and Raymond Knighten both of Decatur and John Nathaniel Knighten of Phil Campbell; two sisters, Frances Earline Baker of Albertville and Ruth Priscilla Hollis of Hartselle; and seven grandchildren, David Alan Knighten, John Christian Upton, Courtney Sue Knighten, Jordan Christopher Scoggins, Hannah Iasbell Ingram-Knighten, Katelyn Hope Knighten and Jayice Lynn Knighten.
