David Michael Dean

A graveside service for Mr. David Michael Dean, 64, of Hephzibah, Ga., will be Fri., Oct. 12, at 4 p.m. at Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery, Hephzibah, Ga., with the Rev. Jim Hyder officiating.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Hartselle.

Mr. Dean died on Thur., Oct. 11, 2012. Mr. Dean was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church. Prior to his retirement, he was a pipefitter for the Pipefitters Union, Local 377.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Byrd and Wetelka Clark Dean.

Mr. Dean is survived by his wife, Jan B. Dean; a son, Chris Dean and wife Patricia of Hartselle; a daughter, Tammie K. Hooks, of Hephzibah, Ga.; his sister, Linda Vest and husband Danny of Hartselle; grandchildren, Audrey Dean, Jessi Scott and Christopher Carl Hooks; his niece, Amy Vest King and husband Allen; great nephew, Wilson Clark King; and great niece, Maggie Beth King, all of Hartselle.
