Funeral for Robert “Bobby” Irwin, 62, of Decatur will be Thursday (today), April 23, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Partridge officiating.
Burial will be in Center Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Irwin died Sunday, April 19, 2009, at his residence. He was born March 28, 1947, in New York to William A. Irwin and Jean Leslie Irwin. He was a Vietnam veteran and was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Pugh of Decatur; two sons, Robert Jason Irwin of Decatur and Martin Owen Irwin of Phenix City; a daughter, Cindy Mechille Irwin of Decatur; two brothers, William A. Irwin of Broward County, Fla. and Leslie A. Irwin of Somerville; three sisters, Donna J. Seeright of Haynes City, Fla, Lisa A. Arce of Lakeland, Fla. and Gina L. Champion of Somerville; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Linnie Trust, Daniel Henderson, Martin Grizzard, Curtis Slaten, Jonathen, Daniel Holladay, Bobby Simmons and Wayland Kent.
