Clark, Phillips exchange vows
Nichla Marie Clark of Hartselle and Jonathan Lynn Phillips of Tuscaloosa were married
Jan. 17 at 6:30 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa.
Dr. Henry Krabbendam of Lookout Mountain, Ga. and Pastor Timothy Lien of Northport officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. James Earl Clark II. of Houston. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Owen D. Sandlin of Moulton and the late Mr. And Mrs. James Earl Clark of Danville.
The groom is the son of Lisa Stegall Parrish of Tuscaloosa and Henry Lynn Phillips of Birmingham. He is the grandson of Eleanor Wheeler Vanhoy of Dallas, Ga., Mr. And Mrs. Calvin Ware Stegall of Columbus, Miss., Mrs. Henry Boram Phillips of Madison, Miss. and the late Henry Boram Phillips.
The bride , given in marriage by her father, chose a gown designed by Monique Lhullier. The gown was ivory in color, strapless and featured a re-embroidered shrug, all made of alencon lace. A belt made of matching alencon lace featured a ivory frayed silk ribbon which accented the natural waistline. Satin-covered buttons adorned the back of the entire length of the gown. The veil chosen by the bride was a chapel length made of soft ivory tulle edged with French lace with a blusher designed by Amsale. She carried a bouquet of hand-tied pale pink roses accented with a halo of lily of the valley.
Serving as matrons of honor were Maggie Hendrix McKelvey of Fultondale and Lana Preuitt Woods of Moody.
Serving as maid of honor was Hailey Ryan Sandlin of Moulton.
Honorary bridesmaids were Erica Winston Smith of Tuscaloosa; Heather Nicole Williams of Montgomery; and Jessica Paige Williams of Birmingham.
Bridesmaids were Heather Brooke Byford, Sally Marie Clark, Kimberly Ann Coker, Kirby Marie Harris, Katherine Elizabeth Lewey, all of Birming-ham; Christie Lauren Carlisle of Montgomery; Alison Ester Clark of Danville; Erin Melisa Phillips of Orlando, Fla., sister of the groom; and Hannah Jean Tuggy of Henderson, Neb..
The groom’s brother, Caleb Shane Phillips of Birmingham served as best man.
Groomsmen were Randall Parks Burcham; James Earl Clark, III. (brother of the bride);
Matthew David Cronican Keith Joshua Entrekin; John Denson McDow; David Floyd Pylant, all of Birmingham; Micah Dewey Collins of Clanton; Zachary Stephen Falkner; Colby Steven Martin; Bryant Alexander Smith, all of Tuscaloosa; and Matthew Joseph Bre-shears of Fulton, Mo.
The music was provided by The Lamb family. The pianist was Holly Salzarulo, and the vocalist was Shannon Camper Gryska, all of Tuscaloosa; Eula Shannon of Tuscaloosa and Darlene Bowers of Decatur.
The guest book was attended by Laura Elizabeth Summerford of Hartselle.
The program attendants were Chancey Malinda Praytor and Micaela Marie Terry, both of Moulton.
A reception followed at the NorthRiver Yacht Club.
The couple honeymooned on the island of St. Lucia.
The couple was honored with several prenuptial events:
