Funeral for Harriett Mae Orme, 98, of Hartselle, was Monday, April 13, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Greg Standridge and Wally Blackmon officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Orme died Saturday, April 11, 2009, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born October 28, 1910, in Morgan County to John Muzzey and Mattie Blankenship Muzzey. She retired as an X-ray technician at Hartselle Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Orme and a son, Jimmy Orme.
She is survived by a daughter, Johnie Doris Long and husband Hoyt of Hartselle; a sister, Hilda Whitworth of Athens; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Kyle Butler, Steve Parker, Danny Muzzey, Ronald Anders, Wayne Kyker and Johnny Taylor.
