Funeral for Ford Lemarr Adams, 63, of Somerville was Wednesday, Mar. 25, at 8 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Bond officiating.
Mr. Adams died Sunday, March 22, 2009, at his residence. He was born September 5, 1945, in Morgan County. He loved gardening and music and he loved his lady. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Ford Adams and a sister, Bertha Drake.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene Adams of Somerville; four sons, Danny Young, John David Young and Timmy Young, all of Somerville and Darren King of Hartselle; three daughters, Mary Wilbanks and Cissy Morgan, both of Huntsville and Brandie Clemons of Hartselle, his mother, Dorothy Hoover of Hartselle; three brothers, James Kelly Winsett of Fork Union, Va., Andy Adams of Ocala, Fla. and John Adams of Cedar Town, Ga.; five sisters, Margaret Branson and Alica Newsom, both of Hartselle, Fonda McCartney of Pennsylvania, Cherie Adams and Renota Smith, both of Montgomery; 24 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
