A graveside service for Edward Earl Price, 54, of Hartselle, was Monday, Mar. 23, at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hayden with Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Price died Friday, Mar. 20, 2009, at his residence. He was born October 28, 1954, in Blount County to J.D. Price and Louise King Price. He ran Ed Price Installation where he installed flooring for Elite Flooring in Decatur. He was a member of the Greater Morgan County Home Builders Association.
He is survived by a son, Edward Earl Price Jr. and wife Shelly of Mena, Ark.; a daughter, Tonya Thompson and husband Brian of Mena, Ark.; two brothers, Johnny Wayne Price of Hartselle and Oneal Reno and wife Lynette; four sisters, Janette Reno and husband Charles of Blountsville, Christine Moore of Hartselle, Charlene Burns and husband Douglas and Janice Lowe; six grandchildren, Dakota Wayne Price, Mason Phillip Price, Brooklynn Nicole (Nikki) Price, Haley Leeanne Strother, Breanna Rachelle Price and Sara Thompson.
Pallbearers were Frank Smith, Jason Summerville, David Horton, Robert McPhail, Allen Reno and Chris Reno.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Decatur Free Clinic.
