Falkville sweeps volleyball tri-match

Falkville High School’s volleyball team scored back- to-back victories in a tri-match with Cold Springs and Vinemont on Sept. 26.
The Lady Blue Devils defeated Cold Springs 25-20, 25-21 and Vinemont 25-22, 25-20.
Elizabeth Davis and Emily Mickelson each had 10 kills in the two-game sweep to lead Falkville. Amber Riddle finished with a combined 31 assists while Patricia Kilgore had 14 digs and Triana Drinkard had 20 digs, three aces and five kills.
