New Center Baptist accepting yard sale donations

Where did August go? Hard to believe it.

Love and sympathy to the family and friends of Yolanda Johnson, Mason Shumate, Etta Garrison and Don Self.

Several in the community had surgery this week, we would like to wish them a speedy recovery and hope they are out and about again soon.

Happy birthday to Brady Baylis who recently celebrated his sixth birthday.

Birthday wishes are extended to Michael Rea on Sept. 1; Mark Barton, Kathy Ray on Sept. 3; Kayla Lacy, Cindy Pulaski and Diana Smith, all on Sept. 4; Zanna Collins, Frank Hanners, Joyce G. Blankenship and New Center Baptist Church (1886), all on Sept. 5; Elijah Halbrooks, Cala Jones, Kody McNatt and Tim Rayman, all on Sept. 6; Darren Tucker, Darryl Gulley and Bill Stinson, all on Sept. 7; Doug Fortenberry on Sept. 8; and Leslie Clemons and David Dean, both on Sept. 9.

Happy anniversary to Keith and Vicki Ferguson and Jerry and Robin Ferrell, both on Sept. 2; Sonny and Eula Francis Downs on Sept. 3; Bob and Barbara Ash, Vince and Glenda Lamberti, Frank and Kathryn Monk and Tom and DeeAnn Verbosh, all on Sept. 8.

Just a reminder about the yard sale at New Center Baptist Church on Sept. 28 and 29. If you want to clean out your closets or garage, you can donate it to the church. All proceeds go toward the mission trip to Mexico Oct. 21-26.
