Eldridge “Eugene” Puckett Jr.

Funeral for Eldridge “Eugene” Puckett Jr., 49, of Somerville will be Tues., Sept. 4, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Jonathan Hunter and Rachel Westmoreland officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Puckett, who died on Sat., Sept. 1, 2012, at his home in Somerville, was born March 13, 1963. He was a service technician for McClary Tire and was preceded in death by his mother, Bessie Dean Richey Puckett.

He is survived by his wife, Bessie Sue Puckett; five sons, Cody Puckett of Danville, Kenny Holladay of Somerville, Daniel Holladay of Somerville, Stevie Holladay of Huntsville and Joe Holladay of Hartselle; a daughter, Lisa Puckett of Decatur; his father, Eldridge Eugene Puckett Sr. of Cherokee; two brothers, Lamar Russell of Cullman and Charlie Van Russell of Tampa, Fla.; a sister, Michelle Dingler of Cullman; and four grandchildren.
