Update on ticket
Editor:
This is an update on the ticket the Falkville cops gave us. Stay away! Or you will pay also!
We paid $130 of our Social Security check into Falkville’s coffers for going 50 mph in a 45 mph zone. I don’t believe it mattered if we were going that fast or not. Take a ride by the new city offices in Falkville and the new buildings. They give you the why of our tickets. Oh yes, and the hot new police cars. All total, our family along has given Falkville over $400 to pay Falkville bills, all of it stolen from us, miles outside Falkville’s city limits. I’m awaiting a reply for the governor about this crooked operation.

Hartselle
Church says thanks
Editor:
Faith Chapel Praise Center Church on West Main St. in Hartselle would like to thank everyone that attended our Spring Give-A on Saturday, May 17. It was such a great success. There was a moonwalk for the kids and games; free hotdogs and drinks for everyone and lots and lots of items. We gave away a $50 gift card and a $50 gas card. The gas card was won by Regina Baker and the gift card was won by Donna Bowers.
We have this every spring and each year it just gets better and better. Fun was had by all. Again, thanks a million and may God bless you and yours.
