Leeth descendants hold annual reunion

The descendants of Bethel K. Leeth held their annual reunion at Sparkman Park in Hartselle on Sun., July 8.

Guests enjoyed socializing and sharing an old-fashioned covered lunch.

Mr. Leeth had three spouses: Nancy E. Thompson (married Nov. 22, 1872), Frances Jacob Cole (married Feb. 8, 1988, and Frances Lorene Baker (married Feb. 25, 1892). He had 18 children, three of whom died during childhood while the remaining siblings grew into adulthood and became parents themselves.

The following six children were represented at the reunion: Zona Leeth Knighten by Betty Knighten, Kris and Carl Kari, David and Anita Knighten, Tracy Knighten Livingston, Frances Baker, John Renea and Ryan Knighten, James, Aundrie, Katie, Annabelle and Andrew Knighten, Stephanie Sargent, Nancy and Allen Walden and Ruth and Allen Hollis ; Houston Leeth by Joan Miller, Benny Carolyn, Tim, Lisa and Mikayla, Jeanice Galin and Vic Budura, and Brian, Ryan and Logan Self;

Minnie Leeth Dunn by Jimmy Dunn and J.B. Dunn; Parilee Leeth Peppers by Helen Moody Waters, Jackson Waters, and Joyce and Don Rojem; Doc Leeth by John Leeth, Charlie Leeth, and Amanda Woodard; and Joe Leeth by Lucille Hall, Doug, Pam and Tyler Sibley, Susan Whitten, Deborah Hall, Ann Kirby, Lexi Moore, Michael Teague and Kevin, Susanna and Sarah Kate Kirby.
