Geraldine ‘Judy’ Woods Tyler

Funeral for Geraldine “Judy” Woods Tyler, 82, of Falkville was Friday, March 21, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Hartselle with Dr. Jeff Redmond and Dr. Ron Wilson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Lebanon Cemetery in Falkville. Mrs. Tyler died Tuesday, Mar. 18, 2008 at Summerford Nursing Home. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hartselle, a retired bus driver for the Morgan County School System and a member of the Quilt Lovers Guild of Hartselle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Tyler.
She is survived by three sons, Mike Tyler and wife Carol of Hartselle, Kenny Tyler and wife Angelique of Fletcher, N.C. and Tony Tyler and wife Vicky of Falkville; five sisters, Laverne Statler of Memphis, Tenn., Geneva Buckner of Trussville and Betty Roberts, Annette Byrd and Peggy Sybert, all of Hartselle; eight grandchildren; and a great- grandchild.
Pallbearers were Larry Bennich, Greg Garner, Randy Maner, Mike Reeves, Keith Smith and Dan Sparkman. The family requests that memorials be made to the First Baptist Church Music Ministry or to a favorite charity.
