Funeral for Nellie “Ann” Shelton, 66, of Eva was Sunday, Mar. 9, at 11 a.m. at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel with Milford Hayes and Harvel Smith officiating.
Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery
Mrs. Shelton died Friday, Mar. 7, 2008, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born July 6, 1941, in Alex City to Artie Thrasher and Vera Curtis Thrasher.
She was loved by many and in turn, loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a Baptist and an avid crocheter.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd Jerome Shelton; a daughter, Debra A. Tankersley and husband Mike; two sons, Zane F. Allen and wife Debbie and Tracy F. Allen and wife Betty; and six grandchildren, Ryan Tankersley, James Allen and wife Jennifer, Jamie Lee Allen, Katelyn Childs, Isaac Childs and Rodney Childs.
