Funeral for Ferris Duphree White, 65, of Eva was Saturday, June 29, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Odom Hawkins and Mike Slaten officiating.
Burial was in Enon Cemetery.
Mr. White died Thursday, June 27, 2002, at University of Alabama Hospital at Birmingham. A native of Cullman County, he was manager of The Porch Restaurant and a member of Macedonia Church of Christ. He served in the United States Air Force as a mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Katy White of Eva; one son, Ferris Duphree White Jr. of Somerville; four daughters, Kitty Engberg and Dottie White, both of Decatur, Sissy Motes of Eva and Rebecca King of Hartselle; two brothers, T.O. White of Eva and John Wayne White of Flint, Mich.; two sisters, Haskell Davis of Eva and Ruth Cook of Birmingham; and 14 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Michael Johnson, Blake King, Roger Motes, Alan Engberg, Ed King and David Johnson.
