One-two day trips fun experience

Every once in a while, it’s fun to take a one or two day trip.

We recently went to Lynnville, Tenn. One of the shops in town was owned by Col. Littleton, a leather shop where he makes beautiful leather bags, belts, cases and jewelry. He also carries a line of men’s cologne in a leather covered bottle.

We took a drive through the countryside where we saw wild turkeys and deer. We also visited several antique shops in Spring Hill, Tenn. You can always have a great time and not have to travel too far.

Congratulations to Greg and Linda Terry on the birth of their granddaughter, Carly Denise Ryan, born July 4, weighing 4 lbs, 14 oz. She is the daughter of Bradley and Ashley Ryan and the great-granddaughter of Glendell Terry.

Christian love and sympathy is extended to the family and friends of Harold Ray McCaig, Barbara Smallwood and Theron Blankenship. Happy birthday to: Haddon Smith and Alice Gibson, July 21; Connie Stinnett, July 23; Emily Mize, July 24.

Happy anniversary to: Greg and Teresa Begemann and Dale and Brenda McMinemon, July 20; Cecil and Judy Berry, Mark and Cam Emerson, Jeremy and Dee Dee Hendrix and Tom and Wanda Robinson, July 22; Mike and Kristi Graham, July 23.
