Attitude check

Todd Barrier

Have you checked your attitude lately? Many of us seem to adopt the same type of attitudes in many areas of our life as those who aren’t Christians. We are one way on Sundays but put other areas of our life in different boxes. For example, we might say “Well this is my work life, and it has nothing to do with my relationship with God.” We might do the same thing in many areas of life. However, our attitude has to be a Godly one throughout the day and wherever we are at. This is how an example is set and the gospel is seen through us. That’s not to say we won’t have bad days or moments but that we are trying our best to please God in all areas of our life despite what circumstances we might face.

In Romans 12:1-2, the Bible teaches us not to conform to the world but to be transformed by Christ. So, we will be conforming to something, either the world’s attitudes or Godly attitudes. So, make sure every now and again you do a checkup on your attitude.
