Priceville closes regular season with no-hitter

Three Priceville pitchers combined for a no-hitter in the Lady Bulldogs’ 12-0 win over Randolph to close the regular season.

Kelsey Green got the start and went two innings to earn the win. Maddie Black pitched two innings of relief. Elizabeth Murphy pitched a perfect fifth by striking out the side to close out the win. The pitchers struck out nine Lady Raiders batters.

Kirsten Segars was the offensive star for Priceville. She had two hits, including a home run and five RBI. Gracin Prater added two hits and an RBI, while Katee King singled and had two RBI.

Arab 4, Priceville 2
The Lady Bulldogs stumbled in a 4-2 loss to Arab. Kelsey Green had a single and an RBI, while Darby Thigpen added two hits.

Danville 4, East Limestone 2
Danville picked up a 4-2 win over 5A East Limestone. McKinley McCaghren pitched 4 2/3 innings to earn the win, allowing one earned run on three hits while striking out six.

Aubrey Reed had three hits, including a home run, a double and two RBI, while Hanah Tillman had a hit and an RBI. Adily Alberti and Ella Kate Tidwell each had two hits.

Huntsville 12, Brewer 3

Ava Walls had a double and two RBI in the Lady Patriots’ 12-3 loss to 7A Huntsville. Breia Rusk had two hits, while Keylyn Stapler added a hit and an RBI.
