The Priceville Bulldogs pulled off the upset in the area championship game when they knocked off the Wildcats 42-41 thanks to a Brandon Speegle three pointer just before the final buzzer. West Limestone had bested the Bulldogs in both of their previous encounters this season. Aubrey Richardson led Priceville with 13 points while Dylan Cross had 11. The Bulldogs will host Central-Florence in the sub regionals round on Tuesday February 14th.

Lady Bulldogs come up just short to West Limestone

The Priceville Lady Bulldogs couldn’t quite duplicate the same magic they had when they upset Danville to knock off West Limestone. Priceville led 16-15 after the end of the first but the Wildcats took the lead 31-27 at halftime. West Limestone held on to win 56-54. Kathleen Wheeler scored a game high 27 points while Jenna Walker added 13. Caroline Bachus led West Limestone with 17 points. With the loss, the Bulldogs will be forced to go on the road Monday February 13th for the sub regionals. Priceville will meet up with top ranked undefeated Deshler.
