Buddy Benjamin Franklin

Funeral for Buddy Benjamin Franklin, 87, of Huntsville, formerly of
Danville, was Mon., Jan. 23, at 1 p.m.  at Peck Funeral Home
with Bro. Frank Camper, Bro. Tony Kent and Bro. Gary Peebles officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Franklin died Sat., Jan. 21, 2017, at his residence. He was born
Feb. 9, 1929, in Decatur to Johnnie Farrish Franklin and Ever
Mae Brown Franklin. Mr. Franklin was a porter for Dunlop Tire and Rubber
Corporation, where he retired after 23 ½ years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Barbara Hardin Franklin; his parents; and his eldest son, Steven Franklin.
He is survived by a son, David Franklin (Tina) of Huntsville; a brother, J.W. Franklin of Falkville; a sister, Katie Kirby of Danville; and two grandchildren,
Erica and Nicole Franklin.
