Crestline Elementary School PTO invites everyone out to enjoy rides, games and concessions from 4 to 8 p.m., Oct. 27 at their annual carnival fundraiser.

The carnival raises funds for Crestline’s General Fund and technology for student use.

PTO second vice president Abby Nagel said some of the money also goes to help teachers buy what they need for their classrooms.

“Teachers have PTO accounts that they use and this contributes $100 to each teacher,” she said.

This is the third year to have real carnival rides, such as the Pirate Ship, Mind Winder, Rock Wall, Frog Hopper, Toxic Twister and newest attraction Toxic Drop, a duel side-by-side 70-foot long obstacle course.

For more competitive people, the carnival features classic games set up by volunteers, a 3-in-1 football toss and inflatable golf.

Even small children won’t be left out when they see the inflatable Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

Hartselle High School art students are in charge of face painting and Crestline parents make their best treats for the cake walk.

The featured foods are Dominos pizza, Chick-Fil-Et sandwiches, cotton candy and funnel cakes. Cash only is accepted for concessions.

PTO vice president Susan Delgado said everyone is invited.

“This is something we do for everyone to enjoy, not just Crestline students,” she said. “It’s going to be a great time for all ages with lots of food and fun.”
