Funeral for Dorothy Chambers, 81, of Fayetteville will be Fri., Oct. 14, at 10 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Robert Morgan officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery near Eva. Visitation will be Thur., Oct. 13, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Chambers died Tues., Oct. 11, 2016, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born July 14,1935, in Morgan County to Pearly Asbury Johnson and Mary Elizabeth Garnett Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Bud Floyd Chambers.
She is survived by two daughters, Stacie Gooch (Mike) and Regina Sam Chambers Williams (Terry); a brother, Pruitt Johnson; five sisters, Ruby Self, Lois Speakman, Irene Dumas, Lucille Nicholson and Gwen Holmes; and one surviving grandchild, Michaela Gooch.
Pallbearers will be nephews and great nephews.
