Funeral for Phyllis Elane Drinkard, 67, of Falkville will be Sat., Oct. 1, at 10 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jason Bomar officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Lawrence Cove Cemetery. Visitation will be Fri., Sept. 30, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Drinkard died Wed., Sept. 28, 2016, at her residence. She was born Nov. 26, 1948, in Morgan County to David Samuel Drinkard and Marguerite Lois Suite Drinkard. She was formerly employed with the Corp of Engineers in Demopolis, working as an administrator. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, David Drinkard.
She is survived by her husband, Marion Thaddis Drinkard; son, Thomas Drinkard (Cindy); two daughters, Georgene Higginbotham and Bette Drinkard; a brother, Richard Drinkard (Cindy); nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren.
