Roger Dale Curnel

Roger Dale Curnel died peacefully at his home in Carrollton, TX on March 30, 2016. He was born in Livingston County, KY on Aug. 3, 1944. He lived life his way. He worked hard and played hard. He loved his family and friends deeply.

He loved all things sports; especially the Texas Ranger and the Dallas Cowboys. He will be missed by many. He is preceded in death by his father, Zelma Lawrence Curnel; his mother, Margaret Louise Black Curnel; brothers, Melvin Otto Curnel, Charles Daniel Curnel; and sister, Julia Margaret Curnel.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Linda Gail Curnel; son, James Dale Curnel of Frisco, TX (Amy); brothers, Alton Lawrence Curnel Sr. of Olivehill, TN and William Stanley Curnel of Hartselle; sister, Patti Jo Curnel of Hartselle; grandson, James Cody Curnel of Garland, TX; Casey Ty Curnel of Cleburne, TX and Braden James Curnel of Frisco, TX; granddaughter Allyson Nicole Curnel of Frisco, TX; three great-grandchildren and one on the way. Mr. Curnel also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, family and friends.
