Funeral for Roy Levi Suggs, 68, of Somerville was Wed., Feb. 10, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. G.W. Atchley officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Suggs died Sat., Feb. 6, 2016, at his residence. He was born June 25, 1947, in Morgan County to Henry William Suggs and Bessie Lee Tidwell Suggs. He was a truck driver and served in the U.S. Army in Korea. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Odell Suggs of Somerville; two sons, Steve William Suggs of Moulton and Shelby Thomas Vann of Somerville; four daughters, Mary Angela Clark (Willard) of Moulton, Connie Francis Cousins (David) of Addison, Mary Alene Kimbrough of Double Springs and

Joyce Sandra Vann of Hartselle; a brother, Henry Junior Suggs of Danville; two sisters, Betty Champion of Hartselle and Martha Powers of Hartselle; nine grandchildren; and five great great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Michael Miller, Robert Champion, Fred Tidwell, James Huckaby, Jeff Powers and Matthew Mittag.
