The Morgan County Board of Education Approved the following at their regularly scheduled meeting Thur., June 11.

Approved contract for services with Christopher Haydn Blevins as the media van driver and textbook processor for Morgan County Schools effective May 27-July 31, 2015 on an as needed basis.

Approved contract for services with Pam Blevins to provide tutoring services (math) for Morgan County Schools between June 1, 2014 and August 7, 2015.

Approved contract for services with Shelia Kasulka to provide nursing services during MCS Title I Summer Enrichment Program June 15-18 and 22-25, 2015.

Approved awarding the contract for the new gym floors for Danville and Cotaco Schools to Gym Service and Installation Company, Inc. based on their base bid of $206,854.00 and one deductive alternate in the amount of <$14,100> for a total contract amount of $192,754.

Approved request from Lady Patriots softball team to host a summer camp for grades 1-5 using BHS athletic facilities (softball field and/or gym) June 22-24.

11. Approved request to use the facilities at West Morgan High School on July 18, 2015 for the youth football camp.

12. Approved adoption of the 2015-16 Student Handbook and Employee Handbook as presented.

14. Approved payment of $4,165 to National School Boards Association for dues that cover the period of July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016.

15. Approved request from Eva School to host a basketball camp on July 13-17, 2015 at the Eva School Gym.

16. Approved meeting schedule for the Morgan County Board of Education for meetings beginning July 2015 through October 2016.
