Dalton Andrew Hardigree

A graveside service for Infant Dalton Hardigree was Tues., March 31, at 2 p.m. at Hartselle City Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Ridling officiating and Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home directing.

Dalton died peacefully in the arms of his parents and surrounded by family on Fri., March 27, 2015. He was born Jan. 30, 2015, in Huntsville. He was born with many rare conditions that were too critical to heal. He loved his colorful mobile, his yellow giraffe blanket, his big green pacifier, having his blanket off and seeing his family around him.

He is survived by his parents, Richard and April Hardigree of Decatur; a sister, Caitlin King; his grandparents, Don and Amanda Hardigree and Steve and Audrey Estes, all of Hartselle; his grandmother, Erin McCauley of Windsor, Calif.; Aunt Amy and Uncle Chris Jantz of Santa Rosa, Calif.; Aunt Sandie and Uncle Scottie Davis of Hartselle; Uncle Charles Maddox of Ardmore; great-grandparents Paul and Sunny McCauley of Monterey, Calif; Peggy Reynolds of Hartselle; Larry Estes of Somerville; and Pam and Dwight Higdon of Decatur.
