Funeral for Christine Kinney, 87, of Falkville was Tues., July 22, at 1 p.m. at Lawrence Cove Baptist Church with Bro. Steven Smith and Bro. Tim Kinney officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Lawrence Cove Cemetery.

Mrs. Kinney died Sat., July 19, 2014, at her residence. She was born Nov. 5, 1926, in Morgan County to Gilbert Hudgins and Dora Moore Hudgins. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Hyland Kinney and her parents.

She is survived by four sons, Basil Kinney of Falkville, Dwight Kinney (Teresa),  Glenn Kinney and  Louie Kinney, all of Eva; a daughter, Debra Price (Rex) of Eva; a brother, Horace Hudgins of Hartselle; a sister,  Josephine Newby of Hartselle; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were family and friends.
