Train children at an early age

I thought I would pick up where I left off last week with childhood beginnings. It is our duty as parents to train our children at an early age. The children God has blessed us with are precious gifts and they need a good foundation to help them develop into adults. No matter what we are doing we need the right tools or need to be equipped to complete our task. By doing this we can pass on the baton of faith to future generations.

Happy birthday wishes go out this week to Larry Kirkpatrick, Bunzie Blankenship and Dylan Dean on Aug. 22, Ty Rayman and Stephanie Cowan on Aug, 23, Jenna Hillis and Greg Spicer on Aug, 24, Austin Barton, Hollie Parker, Trevor Shadden, Vona Keeling, Larry Swearengin on Aug. 25, Logan Ferguson and Susan Hogan on Aug. 26 and Luke Miller and Mark Griffith on Aug. 27.

Happy anniversary wishes to Charley and Sherry Yeager on Aug. 23.

Kaye Widener and Javon Alldredge enjoyed shopping at University Pickens in Huntsville on Saturday and afterwards enjoyed lunch at the 88 Buffet.
