A graveside service with military honors for James McCoy Engle, 76, of Decatur will be Thur., April 25, at 11 a.m. in New Center Cemetery with the Rev. Ben Bates officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

No visitation is scheduled.

Mr. Engle died Sun., April 21, 2013, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born Oct.14, 1936, in Morgan County to Curtis James Engle and Novie Curtis Reeves Engle. Mr. Engle was honorably discharged and retired from the U.S. Air Force as a staff sergeant. He was decorated with a good conduct medal with four oak leaf clusters and a longevity service medal with three oak leaf clusters. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Dwight Engle and Rayburn Engle; and a sister, Linda Sue Kinney.

He is survived by a sister, Loretta Prall of Phoenix, Ariz., and a cousin, Margaret Flannagin of Moulton.

Pallbearers will be provided by the U.S. Air Force.
