God is always with us

Have you ever met someone with the attitude that it didn’t matter what they had to do it wasn’t going to stop them from an opportunity that seemed like a good idea. They would devote all their energy and resources in seeing it through. In Numbers 22:10-34 we find out about Balaam and an offered profitable assignment. He sought God’s direction and when God said no he asked again thinking that God would change his mind. Sometimes things are placed in our path to keep us from doing something that we don’t need to. Even when we think God isn’t around he’s always with us.

Christian love and sympathy is extended to the families of Opal Roberts and Jack Woodburn.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to each of you who participated in helping with the DNOW weekend, we thank you! Brandon and Dana Starnes, New Center Baptist Church, Minister of youth.
