Veterans Memorial receives award

The Morgan County Veterans Memorial Park in Priceville was recently selected to receive a Quality of Life Award for cities with populations of 5,000 or less.
The award will be presented at the next annual meeting of the Alabama League of Municipalities in May.
“This recognition is greatly appreciated,” said Priceville Mayor Melvin Duran. “We take pride in having the memorial in Priceville and feel that it’s a credit to the entire county.”
