Sheriff’s K-9 unit wins award
Morgan County Sheriff’s deputy Josh Gentry and his K-9 partner “Timber” recently attended the United States Police Canine Association (USPCA) Certification Course. Timber, along with 16 other police K-9s, went through numerous detailed trials to ensure their accuracy. Gentry and Timber qualified in first place in all of the events. Timber is a 6-year-old German shepherd and has been performing police K-9 duties for five years. Sheriff Ana Franklin added that this could not have been achieved without the support of our community.
