Funeral for Alan Welch, 37, will be Fri., Feb. 3, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Frankie Sheats officiating.

Burial will be in Herring Cemetery.

Visitation will be Fri., Feb. 3, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Welch died on Wed., Feb. 1, 2012, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born March 4, 1974, in Morgan County to Bobby Joe Welch and Brenda Irene (Sapp) Welch. He was an employee of Capitas Financial as a business development coordinator.

He is survived by his wife, Shelly Welch of Hartselle; his son, Trevor Sapp of Hartselle; two daughters, Lauren Welch and Leslie Welch, both of Hartselle; his parents, Bobby Joe and Brenda (Sapp) Welch; and his sister, Tara Sivley of Hartselle.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
