Oldacre leads Brewer to win

Courtney Oldacre scored a game-high 21 points to help Brewer rout Cullman 68-48 in an area game last Friday.
Rheagan Harvel and Riley Northway added 13 points each for the Lady Patriots.
Northway, a freshman, also finished with a team-high 11 rebounds in the win.
The Lady Patriots trailed Cullman 26-25 at the half before putting the game out of reach over the final 16 minutes.
Danville 72, Elkmont 38
Danville improved to 14-1 with an easy victory over Elkmont.
Celese Sharbutt scored 22 points to pace the Lady Hawks’ attack. Ashley Nance added 15 points, while Kayloni Cross finished with 11 points.
Danville limited Elkmont to just 15 points in the first half.
Boys’ games
Elkmont 73, Danville 61
Danville dropped to 10-4 overall with an area loss to Elkmont last Friday.
Dylan Woods led the Hawks with 22 points, while Evan Cleghorn contributed 12 points.
Dillon Childers finished with 11 points in the loss.
Elkmont outscored Danville 42-30 in the second half to pull away for the win.
Brewer 60, Cullman 56
Jordan Bowling scored 33 points as Brewer beat Cullman in an area game last Friday night.
The Patriots led by nine at the half before holding off a late Cullman rally.
Matt Crowe and Taylor Bowling both added nine points for the Patriots, who improved to 9-4 overall.
Cullman’s Casey Brown led the Bearcats with 16 points. Jordan Ball and Greg Smith finished with 11 and 10 points respectively.
