Funeral for Shannon Michael Douglas Shaw, 32, of Falkville was Sunday, Oct. 19, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Shawn Kennedy officiating.
Burial was in Childers Cemetery in Eva.
Mr. Shaw died Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008, in a traffic accident on Highway 55 near Wilhite Road. He was born Oct. 14, 1976, in Louisiana to Douglas Shaw and Jackie Shaw. He was a member of Etha Baptist Church. He was a student and a former employee of the Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville where he was a counselor.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa Shaw of Falkville; a son, Jackson Shaw of Cullman; two stepdaughters, Raegan Nall and Kelesey Whitfield, both of Cullman; his mother, Jackie Bryan and husband Roger of Falkville; his father, Douglas Shaw and wife Rosemary of Hartselle; a brother, Brenton Shaw of Priceville; a sister, Stormmi Bynum of Cullman; and a nephew, Tristin Bynum.
Pallbearers were Jason Bynum, Terry Whitley, Brent Shaw and Steven Woodard.
