Funeral for Addice Hallmark Brown, 84, of Hartselle was Monday, Jan. 23, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brad Eades officiating.
Burial was in Pitman Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown died Friday, Jan. 20, 2006, at National Healthcare in Moulton. She was born Oct. 2, 1921, in Marshall County to Oscar Henry Hallmark and Alice Bertha Oden Hallmark. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Brown; two daughters, Brenda and Nancy Brown; and two sons, Paul H. Brown and Mack Brown.
She is survived by five sons, James Brown and wife Martha and Johnny Brown, all of Hartselle, Jerry Brown and wife Jeanette of Moulton, Jeff Brown and wife Nina of Trinity and Charlie Brown of Madison; three daughters, Faye Barber and husband Joe of Priceville, Janice McCleskey and husband Farris of Marion, Ark. and Lauri Crowe and husband Randy of Tennessee; a brother, Chester Hallmark of Arab; a sister, Virgie Shaddrick of Joelton, Tenn.; 33 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were her grandchildren.
