Funeral for Tressie Grant Caver, 87, of Falkville was Sunday, July 10, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dewitt Crowe officiating.
Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery.
Mrs. Caver died Thursday, July 7, 2005, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born April 18, 1918, in Morgan County to Willis Elmus Grant and Virginia Suit Grant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joel Murph Caver; and one daughter, Nina Fay Caver.
She is survived by two sons, John Caver and wife Judy of Hartselle and Joe Caver and wife Peggy of Falkville; one daughter, Helen Gibson and husband Howard of Priceville; three brothers, Melton Grant of Panama City, Fla. and Vernon Grant and J. W. Grant, both of Falkville; one sister, Ruby Howard of Falkville; seven grandchildren, Patrick Caver, Jason Caver, Joel Caver, Ricky Caver, Tommy Caver, Kim Wallace and Sherry Caver; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons and great-grandsons.
