Funeral for Bessie D. Peterson, 87, of Decatur was Wednesday, Dec. 15, at 11 a.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Phillip Hines officiating.
Burial was in Hester Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Peterson died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born March 31, 1917, in Limestone County to Harley Danielson and Oma Jones Danielson.
She was a member of Hartselle Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Frederick Peterson; a son, Jerry Peterson; two brothers, Vivian Owen Danielson and Ernest Leon Danielson; and a great grandson, Jerry Edward Smith.
She is survived by two sons, Harley Peterson and Joey Peterson, both of Hartselle; three daughters, Jeanette Burns of Ponotoc, Miss., Margaret DeNiro of Denver, Colo., and Oma Harris of Hartselle; 16 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ray DeNiro, Alan Coleman, Chris Pike, Paul Anton, Allen Hopper and David Wales.
