Chappell's Karate Students bring home honors

Russell, Haney, Thompson and Linam all place first
Students of Chappell's Family Karate competed and placed high at the AKC Tournament in Huntsville.
Several students brought home first place honors, including Heather Russell. Russell won the 8-9 Intermediate Girls Sparring Championship, along with second and third place finishes in Intermediate Forms and Intermediate Weapons, respectively.
Cassidy Haney placed first in the seven-year old Intermediate Forms and second in seven-year old Intermediate Sparring.
Alex Thompson was best in the 12-13 year old Intermediate Girls Sparring, while Bo Linam placed first in the 18-29 Mens Black Belt Weapons. Linam also placed third in the 18-29 Mens Adult Black Belt Forms.
Alex Eliff placed second in both Intermediate Weapons and Intermediate Forms, Joshua Bradford placed second in both 10-13 year old Advanced Weapons and 12-13 year old Advanced Forms, while Nic Eddy placed second in the 12-13 year old Intermediate Forms and fourth in the 10-13 Intermediate Weapons.
Amber Smith placed second in the 10-11 Intermediate Girls Sparring event, Alan Durham placed fifth in the 10-11 year old Beginner Forms, while Charles Gibson and Terry Easterly also competed.
