Funeral for Ozell Powell Brewer, 82, of McCalla will be Friday, May 10, at 1 p.m. at Salem United Methodist Church with Rev. Debbie Wade and Rev. David Weaver officiating.
Burial will be in Salem Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Brewer died Monday, May 6, 2002 at Plantation Manor Nursing Home in McCalla. A native of Morgan County, she was employed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. She was the sister of the late Harold Powell, Tom Powell, Irby Powell and Opal Powell.
She is survived by one daughter, Ruth Stewart of McCalla; two brothers, Leon Powell of Cullman and G. W. Powell of Chambensburg, Pa.; two sisters, Martha Kenney of Westminister, Colo. and Hilda Nelson of Hartselle; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Hubert Powell, Lionel Powell, Anthony Nelson, Kenny Aldridge, Monty Powell and Jim Powell.
