Funeral for Maverine Roberts Garner, 74, of Hartselle was Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Harold Thompson and Dr. Jeff Redmond officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Garner died Monday, Oct. 2, 2006, at her residence. She was born Feb. 14, 1932, in Morgan County to James Ben Roberts and Lucy Speakman Roberts. She was a Methodist and office manager at Eddie Preuitt Ford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis Garner.
She is survived by a son, Gregory Hollis Garner and wife Cookie of Hartselle; a daughter, Paula Garner Howard and husband John of Ashville, N.C.; two brothers, Jimmy Roberts and Hoyt Roberts, both of Hartselle; a sister, Sherry Summerford of Hartselle; a grandson, Matthew King of Huntsville; and a granddaughter, Catherine Garner of Hartselle.
Pallbearers were employees of Eddie Preuitt Ford.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
