Funeral for Odell Lundy, 82, of Somerville was Sunday, June 11, at 3 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with George Harris officiating.
Burial was in Somerville Cemetery.
Mr. Lundy died Friday, June 9, 2006, at his residence. He was born Sept. 28, 1923, in Tennessee to James Andrew Lundy and Sarah Elizabeth Brown Lundy. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a faithful member of Somerville Church of Christ. He was a devoted husband and father, who will be fondly remembered by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by a son, Mark Steven Lundy and a daughter, Tamara Ann Lundy.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Margaret Revena Lundy of Somerville; a son, David Layne Lundy of Somerville; a sister, Estelle Deckard of Tompkinsville, Ky.; a nephew and nine nieces.
Pallbearers were Carlton Fowler, John Maxwell Jr., Jimmy Dobbs, Daryl Wade, Ray Lindsey and Doug Clemons.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
