Hartselle Parks & Rec hosts AAYS Mid-Season Classic

The Hartselle Parks and Rec hosted the All-American Youth Sports Mid-Season Classic last week at the Grady & Margie Long Softball Complex. 54 teams competed in five different age groups.

The Hartselle Pink Sox won the 6U Diamond Bracket, while the Hartselle Tigers won the 6U Gold Bracket. The Hartselle Queen Bees won the 8U Gold Bracket. The Hartselle Heat finished runner-up in the 12U Diamond Bracket, the Hartselle Softball Mafia finished first and the Hartselle Hot Shots second in the 18U bracket.

8U Gold Consolation – Cullman A’s
10U Diamond – Belgreen Lady Bulldogs
10U Gold – Double Springs Yellow Jackets
10U Silver – Decatur Blaze
10U Consolation – Decatur El Fuego
12U Diamond – Danville Lady Hawks
12U Gold – Cullman Black

All American Youth Sports is a rec softball association that covers the southeast. More than 200 individual teams are registered in North Alabama.
