How you met:

We met during college at Mississippi State University our freshman year. We were set up by our friends in Greek life who were dating. The story I like to tell is he had to bleach his hair for pledge-ship, and unfortunately the same week he had an event to go to. So, my sorority sister told him she knew someone who could “do hair” and had me come dye his hair back brown for his upcoming event. It was definitely an interesting way to be introduced to someone! After that we went to a few functions together, and that was that!

The proposal:

He proposed Dec 12, 2021, at my family’s lake house on Smith Lake. It was right after my graduation, and all our loved ones were there to celebrate with us. It was such a perfect sentimental Christmas proposal!

The wedding dress:

My dress was from Birch On Main located in Huntsville. I’ve dreamed about this specific dress for years and was over the moon that they had a designer who made it. Also, this designer was located in Jackson, Miss. which is right around where Will grew up!

What you are doing now:

We are currently living in Madison. I’m a Software Engineer at Dynetics and he’s a designer at Matheny Goldmon Architects and Interiors.
