Sarah Nix & Ethan Johnson

The proposal:

Ethan proposed at Huntsville Botanical Gardens. He completely surprised me. He had our friend, Tucker King, secretly photograph the proposal. Afterwards, we met our families for dinner to celebrate all together.

The wedding dress:

I found my dress at the Something Blue Shoppe in Hartselle. They were so helpful and made the process a breeze. I knew I wanted something classic and simple, and found my perfect dress.

Favorite moment from the big day:

Our favorite moment was the ceremony. It felt so special to be surrounded by our family and closest friends as we entered this new phase together.

Favorite wedding details:

I collect vintage teacups and wanted to use china I collected at the reception. It was an eclectic mix of patterns and colors. My mom, mother-in-law and I had so much fun searching for china prior to the wedding. Hartselle is our hometown, so it was important for us to support local Hartselle businesses.

What are you doing now?

We live in Memphis, Tenn. Ethan is a software engineer and I am a cardiovascular perfusionist. We are enjoying making our new city home.
