Second half of girl’s season begins with holiday hoops

Area girls teams started the second half of their season with some holiday hoops action last week.

Priceville 56, Rogers 44
Priceville (10-7) defeated Rogers 56-44 in the Keith Davis Memorial Tournament. Abby Langlois led the Lady Bulldogs with 17 points, while Amberleigh Dean added 13.

Lauderdale Co. 63, Priceville 48
The Lady Bulldogs fell to Lauderdale Co.63-48 in the Keith Davis Memorial Tournament.

Danville 52, Addison 24
The Lady Hawks (8-10) raced past Addison 52-24 at the West Morgan Holiday Classic. Adily Alberti led the way with 18 points and four rebounds, while Ella Kate Tidwell finished with seven points and four rebounds.

Wilson 45, Danville 41
Danville fell 45-41 to Wilson to open the West Morgan Holiday Classic. Alberti finished with 11 points, seven rebounds and three steals to lead the Lady Hawks. Madalyn McCreless added nine points, while Maddie Sherrill had eight points and three steals.

Falkville 59, Phil Campbell 35
The Lady Blue Devils opened the West Morgan Holiday Classic with a 59-35 win over Phil Campbell. Abbey Grace Tomlin led Falkville with 19 points. Ellie Cate Hill added 17 points, while Kaitlyn Bullard added 13 points.

West Morgan 52, Falkville 48
Falkville lost a 52-48 nail-biter to West Morgan on the second day of the West Morgan Holiday Classic.
